This October 10th to the 17th, challenge yourself, your friends, your family and your work colleagues to give up meat for a week and raise funds for a great cause, Dogs Trust.
Take the No Meat Week Challenge and setup a sponsorship page here. Once your setup share it with your friends, your family, work colleagues and on social media too. All donations will go straight to Dogs Trust who do amazing work rescuing and re homing dogs.
If you have already taken the leap and become vegetarian why not take another and go vegan for the week? We feel this will be as much if not more of a challenge to undertake and maybe you can teach the good folk taking their first steps into a world without meat a thing or two but also learn something new along the way too.

I Love Cooking have been very kind and supplied us with vegetarian recipes so you guys don’t go hungry and have a chance to explore new dishes. By eating less meat each week we can live much happier and healthier lives.
I think we are becoming more and more aware of the effect rearing and feeding animals and cattle for our consumption is having on the environment, by taking the challenge you will be helping slow down this process, we are hoping that after the challenge and your experience eating less meats and more veggie dishes that you will continue on eating less meats and have a big effect on the environment, together we can make a huge difference.
